Nothing

**I just came across this draft blog - I think I must've written  it earlier in June and then not done anything with it.  It seems a shame to not post it, so I'm going to even though it's well out of date.  It will now force me to do an up-to-date blog too.**

Where were we?

A lot has happened since we last met; and yet, not much has happened.  I guess that's life.  The days they keep on rolling....and rolling.

I suppose a lot of what has happened is what is going to happen.  We've sorted out summer - all things going to plan, it will take place in the south of France doing a workaway much like at Black Clauchrie in Scotland.  In September, Mum and Dad come over; we've booked a two-week jaunt around Croatia while they're here.  And at Christmas and New Year we will be escaping the cold for the somewhat warmer climate of Morocco.  So travel plans are afoot.

But in the meantime it's been a very London time of things.  We've bought bikes (and when I say we, I mean David has entirely sorted it out) which have already proved their worth.  It turns out the river right beside our place is massive.  On Sunday we followed it out practically beyond London; there was wild deer and all.
We've been to a few cool performances, namely 1984 as a theatre show (incredible) and Once the musical on West End (the singing was amazing, the acting left me wanting).  We've been to a couple of towns out of London; Brighton on the south coast (a truly bizarre mix of tacky British seas side; carnival and all, and really cool vegetarian cafes) and Stratford-Upon-Avon (where the inner Literacy geek in me came out and we explored the same streets Shakespeare walked on).  And somewhere along the way, I've turned 26.  Definitely in my 'late 20s' now.  Shit.
